I've gotta come up with better titles for these.
2:30pm: 1 banana, 1 bite ramen, 1 can diet Coke
5pm: "I'm Ten"- it's an Avalanche (like a McFlurry, Blizzard, etc.) made with chocolate ice cream, containing: Reese's Pieces, SnoCaps, and rainbow sprinkles. So named because the first time I ordered it I turned to my sister and said "because I'm ten."
6:15pm: 1 can diet Coke, 1 chicken salad wrap, 1/2 bowl spaghetti, 1/2 bowl beef stew, 2 slices bread & butter, 1 can diet Dr.Pepper
12am: 4 quesadilla wedges, 2 honey BBQ chicken strips, 2 mozzerella sticks, 1/2 onion ring (just for the sauce they come with), diet Coke, 3 scoop Reese's Pieces ice cream sundae
2am: 1 cup tea

That is way too much ice cream and soda. If you eat real food almost every time you're hungry instead of empty calories you'll burn it differently. And diet soda is worse than regular soda.
Then again, I've never lost weight on purpose, and never more than 20 lbs. total. And that was by getting rid of my car, I think.
How is diet soda worse?

But since regular soda, in this country, is flavored with corn syrup, and since you've gotten used to consuming a lot of it, I'd switch to iced tea or juice.
p.s.
My mother was recently diagnosed with diabetes. It turned out she'd been insulin resistant for years, which was part of why none of her diets or exercise ever worked. Supposedly this happened during one of her pregnancies, and I doubt you've had time to develop it. But it goes to show you can be pre-diabetic and not know it. Now that she's forced to avoid both simple and complex sugars the weight is dropping fast - and not just in the unhealthy diabetic way.
I feel bad saying all this because I've never seemed to crave sweets the way anyone else does. In fact, they hurt my teeth so much I rarely eat much of them.
Ya know it's kinda funny, before my mother was diagnosed with diabetes I did drink soda, but /never/ diet and not nearly as much. We only started drinking so much because it was one of her "free" foods. I was still very fat, but it's weird how my soda intake just shot up. At one point I was drinking easily 6 to 8 liters a day. All by myself.
